Having your visits to Kek Lok Si Temple during Chinese New Year in Penang are going to be an eye-opening event. The displays of lights in Kek Lok Si happens only once in every Chinese New Year starting from evening. It was that night when my friends and I decided to visit the displays of light in Kek Lok Si. To be honest, the temple will be crowded by hundreds and even thousands of people from the local and the outstation every night during the period of the event. It is packed in short. Some of us, especially me were late for the event planned for an hour together with my other friends.

It was such a great yet can be also an enjoyable night for us despite the heat we experienced in the crowd. We spent our time walking around the temple, praying, and yeah we hung out in the temple until the lights were off then only we finally headed back home.
